It is a private overlay only you can see. Call audio and transcripts are not stored on Wazomind's servers; short audio segments are sent over HTTPS only to produce your transcript and summary, then discarded. The desktop app keeps notes on your device with an offline mode.

On the Windows desktop app, the overlay can stay hidden from screen sharing and recordings - visible to you, but excluded from capture. The browser extension's panel is part of the web page, so it would appear if you shared that screen.
